The Missouri Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration are proposing to construct improvements to Interstate 70 between the metropolitan areas of Kansas City and St. Louis to meet the current and future transportation-related needs of this corridor. In compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act, this first tier environmental impact statement has been prepared to aid in determining the most appropriate type of improvement concept for I-70.
